Bought myself a Xmas present. Semi auto material inside.

I have been talking to a few members via text message about the Hubens lately and we have gone back and forth all of us intrigued but all of us unsure. We all had our own reservations and whatnot about what was holding us back. For me it was the lack of need of another rifle and not wanting to put forth over 2k for another .....well........

Today I stumbled over to New England Airguns page and saw they had this used package that was shooting 47 gr NEAG boat tails and 26 gr hades on another setting. Oh its a 2020 .25

It was very well cared for, updated magazine. A cheap scope and a utg mount.

John at NEAG gave me a new updated manual written by him on handling and tuning and I picked up a new UTG soft case , 3 more bags of ammo and 2 tins of Hades.

I have to say I am flipping excited for this poop (yes I actually typed poop, the forum did not censor me)

Congrats, sir. I had one for a bit. Did develop a couple leaks, but Kelly talked me through fixing one (easy) and I sold the gun with the other leak (disclosed and discounted, of course).

Just never could 'love' the gun. But I will say, it wasnt the guns fault, it was mine (how many of us have heard THAT before?!) It was accurate, handled well, and had a wide range of power. In addition, the semi auto functioned perfectly and was a blast to shoot! Enjoy!

Congrats….i love mine got a K2 pushing 85 fpe with the reg set at 170bar so could go higher, they gobble the air quickly and i get a magazine out of a fill but don’t mind as i have a Hill compressor and cant help but empty a full magazine every time i pick it up hope you enjoy..
From what I understand from talking to the gurus they're all k1s. There is not one that is different than the other except model year 2018 where they used an LW pellet barrel. Other than that all the same. With that said I'm looking forward to getting this thing out and shooting hopefully Sunday afternoon in the brisk , icy , New England weather!

Actually we don't hear that too often! Thats ok though. We all have that one rifle I feel at times that we want to love but can't. For me it was the Alpha Wolf.

@CTairgunner1288 I now know the person who swept in :) ! I’d been eyeing it and I even called John Tuesday night to get some more details and then just noticed it was gone. Glad you picked it up, every time I’m there he’s always telling me how amazing the Huben is so it’s on my shortlist. He said it should be able to accurately reach +300 yards with the right Ammo. I’m sure he already mentioned it but certain designs like the FX hybrids will tilt forward and drag along the barrel when they push through the magazine into the barrel so slugs with good contact along the length of the projectile are ideal. Enjoy!!!

Glad you took it as I intended. After submitting, I thought maybe it sounded as though I were pissing all over your new toy and that certainly wasnt the case. As mentioned, the gun was accurate and handled great. I just couldnt love it. I know a lot of folks really love these guns and for good reason!

I saw it and called John but he must have been busy and got no answer, I did not want to see it vanish from my grasp so I "pulled the trigger" then drove out to the shop. It is in very very good shape and I can't wait to shoot it.

The must beautiful rifle of all the semi ones.

Congratulations !!!

Share groups obtained !!

Will do! 35/50/75/100 I'm hoping Sunday

You will want a after market loading gate, You can check with John at New England or Kelly https://krazcool.com/ or find one on Ebay

I use a piece of flat brass flat stock 1/2" wide by about 6" long to seat slugs so they sit flat/even with the back side of the mag
the thickness is .090" a little under 1/8",,, brass as to not mar or damage the mag's back side

the 33 gr JSBs are deadly from my 2020 K1

Yesterday was a good day, I detuned the Huben for the best accuracy and can probably continue to fine tweak it even more but for the hunting I am going to do , this thing is a killer. This is with 4-7 mph cross winds, zero'd at 50 yards holding over at 77 yards through a digital scope. This isn't the hubens final form either, my sniper hog lights IR illuminator as well as predator hunter outdoors external battery pack should be arriving later today. The rifle is still surprisingly well balanced with the addition of the sightmark 4k max, the resolution is amazing, 3-24 magnification, can't wait to take some coyote.... I got invited out on a hunt this Friday night, hardwood hunting..... got my predator call ready as well.

Oh and I picked up an eotech for the taipan :)
