Tuning FX Impact barrel stiffener options ?

I understand that the only lacking item was barrel holder.

Now with the barrel holder if the liner is sleaved with carbon fiber tube, there should be no POI shift.
I am trying to use a different wording, barrel holder = barrel clamp? Is this we both talking about? Yes, I need exactly that.
I can agree with you stiffening the barrel tube, would that be aluminum or CF on free end of 3-400 mm really doesn't matter.
Yes I have a slip fit CF on the liner as well, cosmetically I like it but I don't think it solves the oscillations as much I would like it.

Yes the front barrel clamp that now comes with M3 as standard.

I will definitely buy that front block=clamp, at my place it would cost me more to outsource (my time + driving + money for a machinist). The only I have seen today that sells it separately from a kit is in EU, airmail is much faster then getting anything these days from US.

Now, going back to my main project, the long upper plate. I feel like designing one myself, I know what features I need or I want.
Comparing the three, the SaberTactical vs AirMarksman vs Kraford&Lypt, all of these have pros and cons in my eyes, but I am very surprised howcome no one came up with a combination of all in a full length?

If you design your top rail, Atilla, and come out with the actual scope rail out front like the AM, keep it solid with no holes, yo give you added weight.

I actually emailed AM to see if they could build one without cutting out the front holes but they said no can do.

I haven’t forgotten about sending you dimensions, just been tied up with another project.

When I saw what the Pantera is doing @ 100-200 my MK2 can do the same, so I just decided to put it back on high power level.....
Uhm f****n Canadian, every winter I brake thausand things to fix thausand things - until the snow finally melts. :)
Until these three decide what or how to do (SaberTactical - AirMarksman - Kraford&Lypt),
for a first aid I could just get a blank 1/2" thick StS bar and transfer the holes, but make a multiple pattern for the upper rail adjustments to bring the scope closer.
;)
Uhm, I am so bored.........

I like the AM upper rail full length idea for the MK2, first the rear is connecting the LEGO parts more rigid, and the front I could install my (diy) above-the barrel bipod.
#1 But more - or longer - I am tinkering, getting to realize, that long bar will flex at front.
My leshiy2 is maybe half the weight, and this how I have it set with that bipod on a long handrail. As you can see the rear is already sitting on the table and not much room for long shots.

The Impact is probably twice as heavy, speculating now I never weighted them to compare.

#2 I really got used to my (diy again) one-piece rest. And as we can see the rail height would be much higher, meaning need to stretch the limits on the over-the barrel bipod.

I think I would start - for now with a thicker upper plate, and make a pattern of holes for the scope rail, to move it backwards until I can comfortably aim from behind the gun.
As from your measurements, the AM rail can give me about 2" longer scope travel, but maybe I would need the scope back end further back to -above the Reg gauge ??? I don't know yet what the eye relieve will need to work that way.

Edit:
Front clamp (and some other exotics) parts ordered from europairguns.

This will be an interesting new winter project. How to make a new upper plate with raised picatinny block that is adjustable L-R.
If I want to keep a buttstock the scope shall get here:

If I would remove the buttstock completely or eventually put back the OEM, the scope would end up here, with in mind I will have to find a solution for the rear sled:

Either way these options doesn't exist but DIY. Hopefully the winter will be long enough :)
