Hi
There is a problem with M3 1st regulator of a friend who lives in an other city so I can't inspect it.

The problem is that when air is filled in the bottle, the regulator goes as high as the air is filled in the bottle.

In order to make the 1st regulator work, he needs to remove the bottle and then re attach.

Then it works fine until he needs to fill the gun again.

He has replaced all O rings of 1st regulator but in vain.

I though that someone might had faced such an issue and the fix would have been found which I can recommend to my friend.

Advices are welcome.

Regards,

Bhaur

It sounds like the pressure is bypassing the inner rear O-ring..
It is the O-ring that sit in the Brass collar the the piston rides in.....
It could be debris... or it could be a bad O-ring...
This O-ring what keeps the Bottle/fill pressure from bypassing the Reg!!!!

I finally got the gun in my hands.
Inspected carefully and found that the groove of O ring 4x1.5 inside the regulator body is not in good condition.

Every time when that O ring is replaced, the O ring gets scratched that ultimately causes leaking from breathing hole.

Some other issues too.

Just to examine which parts are bad and which are good in that M3, I replaced the regulator body and adjuster screw with my M3.

The problem of faulty M3 resolved.

When I installed the removed two parts in my gun, it started showing bad behaviour.

So I understand that the culprit is the 1st regulator main body and adjuster screw.

I have wrote it to Johan and hope that he will send these two parts for the final solution.
