Trouble Filling Umarex airsaber pcp (Resolved)

Recently got a umarex airsaber elite x2 and had some difficulty sighting it in as the scope that came with it was broken. But put a spare scope on it and got a several great shots had some fun....

Now I can't seem to refill it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. (see video)

-Gun is cocked
-Pump gets time to prep
-Unloaded and on safe
-Screw for line clear on pump is closed

Air seems to come out other hole for fill probe or the barrel instead of going into tank

RESOLUTION
After reading your amazing replies I:

-Tried test plug on compressor. I didn't know what that was for either now I think I'm going to use that before every fill

-shot dry fire and live fire few more times untill gauge read end of green.

-waited the night. Not sure if waiting helped or not

-The real culprit was a tinny hair line crack in one of the fuel probes O rings. At one of your suggestions I wrapped the fuel probe in Teflon (plumbers) tape and fixed the issue.👍
Little embarrassed it was something simple with a simple fix.

Thanks for everyones help!

Soulz,
Make sure "O" rings on fill probe are undamaged, if OK, apply light coat of silicone grease. Verify compressor is working by using test plug (pictured). If compressor OK, try to determine air leak location on gun. End of barrel leak seems odd since gun was filled and used successfully, hopefully some pressure remained in tank before refill attempt, empty systems can be hard to fill. Finally, I checked out YouTube on this gun, I'd switch to other barrel, cock gun, try refilling. Best of Luck, WM

Opph that's what that thing is for😅just was using it as a "cap/plug" for dust🥴

Yeah, work great for testing hand pumps or compressors, as well as finding leaks. If OP has test plug, he can narrow his search quickly. Also, successfully filling another PCP with compressor accomplishes same thing. WM

All failing try filling with scba - the sudden high pressure may persuade the seals to get back in their groove
Agree, normally only initial fill of an empty system requires this, what's confusing is this gun was already filled and used successfully, hard to imagine the air tank was completely empty prior to refill attempt. WM

I did my snowpeak that way ...once!😵‍💫 shot til it was EMPTYYYYY. Took a bit to get it accepting air again.

Never shot an arrow PCP, might use large volume of air per shot, easy to empty tank, if not mindful. Top culprit, in my eyes, is filling probe "O" ring related, referring to possible air leak mentioned on far side of probe insertion hole. If rings undamaged, silicone grease does wonders. WM

Congratulations, no need for embarrassment, hairline crack in "O" ring is hard to find. Try to get some spares from Dealer or Umarex. Small tube of silicone grease (plumbers use it for faucets and valve stems) is very helpful, I use it on all my fill probe "O" rings. Two years ago, I knew little about this hobby, today, after much kind and patient help from AGN experts, I've picked up a few tips I'm glad to pass on. Thanks for sharing, you've already helped the next person facing a similar problem. Best Regards, WM
