New Easton Arrows for the Airsaber😁😀😆

On Saturday a dozen and a half of Easton 2219 xx75 magnum aluminum arrows will be here for testing!!!! Yeah!!!! From following the members on this forum I found out about the Easton aluminum arrows and the airsaber... I can hit a target at 120 yards with the umarex arrows but I have to sort them....so I'm excited to see if these are more accurate....... There definitely going to be slower at a 100 grains heavier.... Still probably around 400 fps....I'm hoping... Ill let you know how it works...

First shot with Easton 2219 xx75 arrow. Same scope settings didn't adjust speed ring...Not bad 20 yards

My last 50 yard group ruined 2 arrows..one fletchings cut in half the other bent arrow. 70 yards first shot low... Added elevation too scope...wind blowing today.. didn't hold wind.. next 3 arrows same point of aim 70 yards.. not too shabby for a $230.00 Airsaber View attachment 352118
That's impressive, I am jealous as all get out.

I have not messed with my Samyang 909 past 20 yards because of the design of the bolt. It has a large ferrule on the head to match the 457 barrel. This creates a nightmare for pulling them out of the bag target. Coupled with 515 fps bolt hitting a bag rated rated at 400 fps, some bolts will penetrate half way through the bag and then its a whole other nightmare of tring to get the 457 diameter nock out of the bag and deforming the fletching.
Maybe i should sell the 909 and buy the airsaber.

Or maybe i should just stick to my bow for shooting arrows.
60 yard group with bow althou i never shoot beyound 30 yards in the woods.
I hate crossbows even though i own 3 of them, too clunky to get through the woods quietly to my stand. Limbs always clanking off treelimbs. So i was exploring the airbow a bit for feild setups where one could shoot 100 yards.

Some good and basic things don't change😀😁... The Easton aluminum 2219 just keep shooting well in my airsaber with no failures. I keep shooting at 120 yards and groups keep getting better the more I use it. Grant it I don't shoot 120 yards on real windy days.. I see the new 500 fps ten points crossbows use Easton aluminum 2219 too..maybe something too it. I'm at 472 grains with 100 grain field point at 405 fps at 3400 psi in my airsaber...

Easton XX75 was the standard for airguns 20 years ago. Many (most/everyone?) added 1-2 drops safe oil to the top of "barrel" before sliding the Easton over it. Made a22XX and a QB's using them using them after BRIEFLY trying a (dont do it) Swivel Machine works rig in .25 (could NOT hit anything less than a close range barn) but the arrows were fine and not too costly at the local archery store.

A link just for fun: http://swivelmachine.com/html/stealth.htm
