Scope mounts for Huntsman Revere?

Soon I'll be receiving a Daystate Revere.

I'd like to scope it as low as possible, given the height of the magazine. I'd like to use a 32mm objective glass.

The base is 11mm. I'm curious of anyone knows the minimum scope ring height that clears the magazine? If I were to order Sportsmatch 2pc rings, would I be able to get by with the medium height?

Has anyone used the low profile magazines? What's the take on those?

I just measured my Huntsman Regal - Revere is identical.

My UTG High rings are .81” from the top of the dovetail rail to the very bottom of the ring (scope tube). This provides exactly .15” clearance from top of Daystate factory magazine to bottom of scope tube. So, in theory, you could use a ring with a height of .67” above the dovetail rail and retain .01” of clearance.

Remember this .15” clearance is to bottom of scope tube. If you mount your scope so that the section with the turrets is over the magazine, and this section protudes lower than the scope tube (as most do), then you will have less clearance.

This guy sells precision dovetail rings (on eBay) - for both 1” and 30mm scopes. He offers heights in .2” graduations:

He measures his ring heights from the bottom of his ring mount - not from the dovetail. The height of the dovetail rail itself is .11”

Using these measurements, his .9” height rings would be the lowest you could use from him: .9” - .11” = .79”

If he offered .8” height, that would be close to perfect for maximum “low” - as that would be .69” - lol.

I hope this helps.

Take a read of my post in this thread about the BKL low mounts on my Daystate Air Wolf. I prefer the BKL's because they are lightweight, self-centering and use only one screw to tighten to the dovetail rail. I use the older Daystate mags so not sure if your Huntsman uses the new ones, which may be a bit higher. The older version mags are 30mm in height. Carm has .177 and .22 low profile mags as well . . . https://www.carm-magazines.com/carm-low-profile-magazine-for-daystate-air-rifles.aspx

Low profile magazine for Daystate air rifles , (29.5mm in height total in .177 cal and 30mm in height in .22 cal)
