Gauntlet .22...should i?

I guess thats the name of the game for anyone and any gun . Figured all them guns you got should fill in shooting time.
I've loaned out quite a few to get people shooting😅

iAM,
Gen One .25 was my first PCP, forget it for hunting, way too long and heavy and has worthless sling stud positioning. Bolt action is stiff and feels like grinding rocks. Very accurate (50 yds) with JSB 33.95s and inexpensive aftermarket upgrades available. Paid $310 in 2021 but think prices will continue to drop until Gen Ones are gone. PA has for $229, predict below $200 by years end. Lower prices drop, more shortcomings overlooked. WM

I think like said above, an Air Arms S200/T200, incredible build quality for the money, accurate as anything. If it's not regulated, I would throw one in down the line.
Yeah and uses very little air. Plus you can get spare cylinder and change if necessary during a match. Not sure of shot count, but our club used to use them for air rifle league. I think they filled before the match, but we shot 7-8 10 shot relays and never needed to refill. I think they also lasted even longer, I just didn’t pay much attention to how often they got filled.

Really accurate and not too heavy, a lot of shots per fill. Punches right through paper with ease. I think they were around 500-600 fps with 8.0 gr wadcutters.

Just got a gen 1 In .22. It's heavy and long but I love it. I most bench shoot in my backyard. With buck rail moderator it is great! I punch paper and critters that raid my bird feeder and tear up my yard furniture. It is so accurate with CPHPs that is all I use. I've upgraded to a .22L bottle and set regulator to 1400 psi. I called myself counting the shots but got tired of shooting after 120 rounds. It was in the yellow at that point but still pellet on pellet. I have no idea how fast they were moving at that point. My point is, this was my first PCP. I think it's an excellent choice.
