Well got my GX CS3 today .....lost the lottery...got a bad one....

Well decided on getting the CS3. Ordered it got it today. Took it out of the box everything looked good started on the fan fans run with no problem and push the start button nothing.... pressed the button again nothing....so I guess lost the compressor lottery on this one. I have a CS2 and the battery version of the CS2 both TANKS!!!! Just wanted something with the auto stop and pump a little longer to pump up the "beast" my Uragan King in 30cal. Trying to save on range time more shooting less pumping because the range closes at 4pm because the locals in area took the range to court they lost and won. They lost because time is shorter but won because they can remain open. Not really sure what happened if something happened during the travel here or the UPS driver playing football again if you know what I mean. I have sent them a email are there any other emails or ways to contact them??? I ordered directly from GX themselves. Thanks

Bud,
Sorry about that, losing the lottery stinks. Green with envy towards those with perfectly performing Airacuda Max airguns, took several frustrating months searching before stumbling on where installer messed up. Agree with JimNM, could be something simple, be thankful it wasn't like the member who bought a Vevor Compressor only to be greeting by a loud, arching flash, when switched on, forever DOA! WM

That is pretty confusing... After reading it a couple times, it seems they want you to just remove the purple wire from behind the off switch and then see if it starts. Removing the purple wire my just take the circuit board off line and allow the pump to run. The auto stop and any temperature or pressure safety circuits may not function without the circuit board, but at least you'd know the pump was good. Thankfully, you still have the CS2 while you wait for the parts to come.

I don’t have one of those compressors to compare the wiring diagram to the real thing. But, if you can get access to the back of the plug and get a picture, I might be able to help.
At work now. After work I try unplugging the wire see what happens. But I will definitely post pictures later today. Maybe this can be solved without sending the unit back?? Maybe??

I'm leaning towards a fix without return, an arching flash, yeah, THAT puppy goes back! Seems they're willing to make it right, as long as you're comfortable installing circuit board or switch, think they'll be happy to send parts for free. No great surprise that Chinese quality control can be dodgy, look at the silver lining, you'll learn a lot in the process, I can take my Airacuda Max apart blindfolded. WM

Dont understand why the need of all the circuit board crap on everything today outside to prevent you from fixing it easy and a added costly part..

I mean all you need is to turn it on to run and off when your done.. that simple process made complacatef .

Somehow all that electronic mess is sooo much better . Simple on and off well we cant have any of that now can we ?

Yes 👍 that's what thought too. Now is it the motherboard or IS the motor no good???

I don't know why either?? It looks like the can rig up something with very minimal electrical components for a auto stop.

Yeah looked at everything on the motherboard looks like everything is plug and play. Nothing looks to hard to replace or far as I know nothing to solder.

Agreed, was thinking same thing but not all are comfortable repairing things. I've a couple of free, barely used flatscreens that were easy, cheap fixes using "how-to" videos on YouTube, gives a feeling of accomplishment, too. WM

If you will be doing your own warranty work, you may want to call Bill @ Target Forge.
He has a lot of experience with the 1-3 GX's. also parts should you need them.
Seems likely....I will probably know something here in a few hours when they open up. I am hopeful they just tell me to send it back with one that works.... fingers crossed but they will probably send me another motherboard this will be fun....

Well like said above it looks all plug in and the board is just on pushpin type pedestals . Pretty close to goof proof.. well i guess i could goof it up being me🤤
