Where on earth did the time go!?!

Was going over some old PM's looking up some info in discussions with other members when I saw the date / time stamp on some and it was like HOLY SH*T! That was 3 years ago? I remember it like it was maybe last year. Don't think so? Go access your PM's and scroll back to page 9 or more and see! Some will laugh, others will shake their head!

But we have done many things !!!

Last Friday my wife and myself went to have dinner for first time to my youngest son (just married) New house.

It was a happy moment remembering when he was a baby and now he has his own house and a lovely wife!

And in between a lot of happy huntings togheter and his professional achievements !!!

Time passed, yes, but that investment is showing it was well done !

I had to go to my Amazon account to see when 1st started up with airguns, as your post got me thinking. 2015 the obsession started, 2017 joined AGN. It was fun to look back & see what I didn't know & how much I've learned & benefitted from being a member and picking other's brains and striving to pay it forward to others. Here's to ALL you members & our GREAT OBSESSION! Time's fun when you're having flies 🤪 :ROFLMAO:

I know the feeling.
These days a month is like a week was 40 years ago.
For instance last month,,,,, well i barely noticed March.
And some times talking with my M8 about the good old days i or he would say " remember 10 years ago when " and then we realize that was actually 30 years ago.

Back in school, time was moooooooooooovvvvviiiiing soooooooooooo sloooooooow a year was like a life time, and with my experience of school ,that was a lifetime X 9.5 of agony and discomfort.

Listening to the Pink Floyd track named time,,,,,,, always get me.

After 55 it’s like dog years.
I use to laugh at that, knocking on 60s door, now I can say it’s so true.

I started ordering compasco air rifles in the 90s. Not knowing a damn thing about air rifles.

There is a psychological reason for this phenomena. When you are young, your brain is overloaded with new “information” gleaned from your five sensors. Time seems as if it is at a standstill as we absorb all this new data, file and store it. Each year, the uptake of new data increases because of the informational database that is already in place. Decades later, time seems to start flying by because we are “learning” less new stuff. Fleeting life is the price we pay for experience and wisdom.
