Besides the typically beautiful English Webley bluing being sanded off and what looks to be a very, very curved trigger blade, I'm not sure.

I thought the trigger housing was welded on those guns, or maybe that was only the Turkish versions... I'm not sure. Never owned a Turkish version and sold my Kodiak and Patriot off last year. So right now, I'm just throwing guesses out

Well, sir... I'll say that taking an angle grinder to your Patriot either shows a complete disdain for the gun itself, or a set of brass balls so large you need a wheelbarrow... will be curious to see what you come up with. I've torn apart my fair share of springers, but my 'smithing' was limited to simple spring/guide/seal replacements. This appears to be a wee bit above my comfort level!

How about cutting up one for parts. .. no brass balls. But a bit of liquid courage goes a long way
look in the compression chamber. .. it’s sleeved down to 27 mm
118 mm stroked 27 mm … Think Tommy on steroids without the Tommy kinck as the stroke and added mass make it a lighter springed gun.. I had to make and machine a 30 mm rear section and a 27 mm compression piston

27 mm DOM (seamless) tube turned down to +-.003 OD of the compression tube.. Most are 1.182. 1.183 .. It’s then vacuumed sealed with a heat sealing high temp adhesive under negative draw
The front pickle forks need to be removed to do it properly.. you can’t slide the tube down the rear as the compression area has different tolerances from the wear and the honing process and will not fit.. it’s a very time consuming and proprietary method and if done wrong the gun will leak at the breach or have suck out loss..
I know the NEXT , question.. WHY DIDINT YOU JUST USE 27 mm tube to start with? I tested that out..
Few reasons, first the stroke is much longer than a standard Tommy. 97 mm. The tubes on these guns are under a bit of stress when cocking, and twisting does happen as the gun gets longer.. Second is those of you who own a Tomahawk will attest that a 7.5 lb gun doing 18 to 20 ft lbs does have recoil ,even mine which are tuned ok.
The added mass dampens this and gives the feel of a softer shot cycle.. Thirdly the laerger 30 mm tube gives me twice the area in the rear to adjust the piston weight for a better shot cycle.. and allows me to use a spring that's for a much lighter gun.. Think R9 hw95 cocking and 25 ft lb gun that is has r 9 recoil.. with a very good trigger.

New hardened Sears I made that are better angles giving the trigger a AIR ARMS CD feel. Test pistons and some break down comp tube pics
