Qb 79 multi shot

It's a shame that the QB line disappeared when Beeman took over. For the money the old QB's were a really decent platform once the bugs were worked out which was half the fun. It would have made more sense to just incorporate the originals into the new lineup and continue to offer support.

You made me curious, so I went over there to see what's still available. They still have a whole line of them on the web-site. I wonder if they just haven't gotten around to editing the page yet.

Working out the OEM bugs is a lot of fun. The originals that Tim imported were bug-free, but Beeman has brought some (but not all) QC back to the line.

I never expected to see a QB78 .22 shoot consistently into less than a quarter-inch at ten yards with Crosman pellets, but here we are. I wouldn't mind having an AR2078 stock on it, but what I have works just fine.

Cheers,

J~

I haven't looked at a Beeman catalogue for a very long time and was surprised to see the QB s back in the lineup. What's missing are the conversion and spare parts that Archer AG used to offer on his website. I forgot just how long ago that was. I think I should dig out the old QB air rifles that I have stored away and check them out.

You might try over seas SMK 78 (79)? Not sure about ordering from over seas , some will some wont. Rowan still list such a device and let me put on in the cart so? No idea on this unit but: https://www.pullthetrigger.co.uk/epages/es774039.sf/en_GB/?
Several SMK options seem to exist JSRamsbottom seems to have something https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/35330102...reD71xNDLqXcwQykiQK+blMnNq|tkp:Bk9SR-LnteyMYg

Several designs listed on 3D prints?

A gauntlet gen1 dropped into any QB stock might be a value (someone had them on sale a week or so ago for $199.00 but alreay having a QB and wanting to tinker that would kill the fun.

Keep trying and keep us posted. NO shortage of QB's let in the airgun world.

AR2078 stock would be great!!

That multishot magazine just may be what the OP is seeking. Not having to change the receiver and bolt would be a big plus in my mind.

I saw the multishot mag. I'm not sure I like the idea of having to manually advance the mag. It seems that it'd be just as easy to just drop a pellet into the receiver.

Appreciate y'all's input though!!

This model uses 2000 psi HPA instead of CO2 and has a magazine so there is no need to convert. I think the conversion that you asked about was around $169 not including the rifle. Just a thought and it looks like a good place to start.

  • 10 shot magazine
  • Velocity: 830 fps in .22 Cal.
  • European hardwood stock
  • Fiber optic sights
  • Manual safety
  • Caliber .22
  • 2000 psi
  • Noise suppressor
