🔴 ⁍ Rangefinder Specs Table ⁌ 🔴

for SIG Kilo1000 to Kilo2400 models

• I like their looks.
• I like their specs.
• I like that their used prices are coming down since SIG introduced a new line/series.

To help me shop I made this Specs Table.
It might help you shop as well.
There are 16 models, with side-by-side specs.

Happy shopping, 😊

Matthias

Matthias!
At it again I see. While I'm not in the market for a new rangefinder, I always enjoy your thoroughness in the assembly of the facts in an easy to read format.
Not sure if any of the Sig rangefinders have an optic power, but that is the only thing that I don't see on your sheet (the rangefinder that I use has a x7 power optic for instance).
Nicely done as always!

Thank you, Mike. 😊

And yes, the optic power — or magnification — is noted in the first column, right after the model name:
For example, the first rangefinder in the table:
Kilo1000 BDX 5x20:
The magnification is 5x.
The diameter of the objective lens is 20mm.

Cheers,

Great chart!!!

It would also be very helpful to have LASER DIVERGENCE as part of comparison chart. It directly affects the ability to range small targets or flat ground.

Also the OLED feature is a must have IMHO.

qball,

please explain about the laser divergence! 👍🏼
That is exactly what we airgunners need, as our targets aren't deer sized.....

Just a quick check showed:
Kilo1600: 4.00 x 0.2mrad
Kilo2200: 1.3mrad

How do we need to interpret that? Why does it say on the one model "4.00 x", but not on the other model?

The more expensive the range finder the smaller divergence numbers are which means narrower the laser beam is which means it can range smaller targets at longer distances. 4x0.5 Mil divergence means the laser is 4 mil tall and 0.5 mil wide. It’s to range a person or big games at about 1000-1600 yards. For the most part the divergence is approximately size of a human torso at max or close to max range.

Smaller laser divergence = better = $$$

Thank you! 👍🏼 That was very helpful, and I will include that info in the next edition of the Specs Table.

⭐ Our airgun forums keep surprising me with the wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and kindness that is gathered here (besides the few everpresent scumbags, but again, thanks to those who watch out for others, they get called out pretty quickly!).

I just had an interaction with a seller on one of the AG forums.
I had dropped the ball and had supplied him with a faulty shipping address.
After the seller got the corrected address, he shipped it within a couple of hours to the corrected address.

➔ I asked him how much to paypal him for his extra drive to the post office and the doubled shipping costs.
He didn't want to charge me. 😯

I had dropped the ball. — HE picked it up and paid for it. 😊
WOW! 😊
