Daystate has a backward system of internal ballistics, it would be smarter for them to do internal ballistics like the Skout Epoch has, much cheaper and a big saving in electric energy!...

I wonder if one were to now order a new DW or AW to ask Daystate to install this new valve, so there is a factory warrenty?.

I can't answer for improvement. My AW Safari came with the updated valve and software.
I will say that my .22 AW is lights out the most consistent and accurate pellet shooter I own.

Same - but with the Alpha Wolf HP .22 and non-updated valve + software.
Plus, as a bonus, ease of use in Factory mode.

I got about an extra 30-40 fps at the same reg setting when I installed the valve. Advanced programs will need to be tweaked a bit to brings speeds back down. My for example is I am shooting the JSB 34gr .25 @ 170 bar. Was maxing out around 940-945 fps. When I installed the new valve the same reg and hammer settings brought me up close to 980 fps. I think that's pretty significant for just the valve swap.

Actually yes, for my specific example. With the .25 barrel I was having some trouble tightening the group up on the JSB MkII 34gr pellets. Went from 860 up through ~940 and I just couldn't pull the group in tight enough so I knew I needed more speed. Right around 955-960 I saw the groups tighten up a bit at 50 and much more at 100 yards.

I just ordered one. My AW shoots 18.13 grn (75 bar reg, 2100 and 64.5 voltage) @ 888 fps and the group is half Moa and 60 yards. I want to see how the new valve will change the gun.
