I bought a Cricket 2 long, .22 from a member here and just got it yesterday. I shot it some yesterday evening and this thing shoots Awesome. Last night I machined an adaptor for the barrel threads and installed the carbon fiber moderator that I made and I also made a carbon fiber barrel sleeve for it. I shot it this morning on my woods range at 50 yards shooting the FX Atomic pellets and all I can say is that I love it......:) I've got a farmer friend that has a rat problem around one of his chicken houses and they are going to be eating some Cricket very soon....:)

This is a 10 shot group at 50 yards I shot this morning......

I like what you’ve done to the barrel and moderator. I think it’s actually improved the accuracy.

I think it has also.....I machined a mono core with machined K baffles inside that moderator, it has some weight to it and I think it does help with the barrel harmonics as my M3 shoots very well with that moderator also.....but, I think it's staying on the Cricket now...:)

I have a Charlie Frear tuned version of the same gun. Posted an AGN review a few months ago showing a 3/8” 10 shot group at 50 yards with the 18 Gr pellets. Charlie has been wanting me to try the JSB Jumbo Monster Redesigned 25.4s but it shoots so well with the 18s I haven’t had the desire to mess with it.

Nice custom mods and congrats!

Thanks very much......this gun originally was bought from Charlie Frear, it was set up for the MRD's at 945 fps. When I first shot it that's what I used in it and they were shooting less than a half inch at 50 yards. I bought it for pesting so I turned it down for the Atomic pellets at around 900fps. I shot it some more this evening to see how many shots I could get on a fill and I got six magazines and was still above the reg., I can get easy 90 shots with it and still be above reg. pressure...:) This gun fits me like a glove....I was practicing shooting it off hand this evening and surprised myself at how accurate I was shooting it at 50 yards....I've got a friend that asked me to get rid of some rats on his farm and I want to be ready to take care of them...:)
