Naaaaah, I buy and sell too often and I am pretty sure painting would seriously devalue any gun that I painted with latex and a 12" roller

Ease of application = 2 (just tape off the moving bits.
Durability = 1 (if you want a permanent finish choose Cerakote, Duracoat, or even a Hydrodip).
Removability = 3 (90% rubbing alcohol takes it off without harming the OEM finish).

I did just this! lol As long as you learn and move on it can be a good thing. Though change is good and you will always have a "custom" looking rifleDoh!!!!
