N/A A target I couldn’t resist

Got caught again at AGS. Went in to get a scope (Element) and rings. I have a HW98 .20 en route. Also scored 10 tins .20 cal. rounds.
My antenna went up , I could smell a squirrel. I saw him and took him home as well.

I couldn’t resist, a Balistic gel tree rat.

Because of his size I tortured him with a HW30 .177. Few shots to the head and heart. So cool.
I would think most other springers would go through.

Digesting lead.
‘When I’m done with these. I have to get a slow cooking pot at a yard sale. These will melt down for reuse. I have the mold for it. Crow
Forgot to mention. We can expect the new Air Arms in soon.

The mold I bought is I think 4x4x20 inches rectangular. Not the shape of a tree rat. Crow

It might be 2 lb. When you hit it it wiggles. I also have 2 rabbits 6-7 lb. ea.
This is the mold it’s 4x5x18 in.

(Not so cute when they harvest the vegetable fields in the South and the farmers take huge financial losses....
They are actually hares. But hares, rabbits, what difference does it make to the farmers...?)

The squirrel is bigger than I thought. This will give you an idea of size. Like life size.

I wacked this squirrel with a HW70 .177. 8 yds. JSB 10.34 dome. 5 shots 2 bounced back and hit me, 3 weren’t far off. Gave it JSB 8.44? Penetrated 1 1/2 in.

Another pistol was a P11 .22.

P11 was 2-2 1/2. in. Penetration.
When I did the 1/2 pump it barely buiried itself below the surface. 1/2 in. Crow

Don't need to wait until winter....now a 95 degree day would not be ideal, but in the 70's you will shoot them up before they melt, well...at least I do !! Afterall can't let them get away !!
