USFT Scope Height from Bench

I would like to get some ideas on a Benchrest setup for my USFT. After placing the rifle on a 36" high bench on my Caldwell rest I cannot use the 20 inch high chairs provided at BSC. The rifle has a canted grip so it can be lowered, but is a bipod legal? Hopefully the pictures will help.

If you wanted to try it, Tim sells a different butt piece that would work better for benchrest instead of the usual aluminum butt piece (like we all have). I know your issue is height with the caldwell front rest. Maybe a benchrest guy can speak up and let you know. I cant see why a bipod would not be allowed, I see alot of them on benches at competitions in pictures.

National 50 allows any kind of rest.
