Sad to say it, but my Element Helix 6X24X50 FFP failed possibly due to the 97K's recoil.
Time to test the warranty unfortunately.
The ocular lens came loose with about 10 moa of movement when you wiggle it.
Wanted to add an update:
Element warranty had replacement scope to me in four days!

I have been following. I had a bunch of Vantage scopes that failed. I recently purchased a new, open box Airmax 3 x 9 x 40 for $130.

I like Element Optics Helix scopes for pcp guns. I’m getting ready to return my third scope that was on a 12 ft lb springer. They have always replaced them but it’s a hassle.

I doubt that, seriously. I own and have owned several Hawke scopes. Over the last few years they have nearly doubled in price. I do not think they are worth the price today. I use a Discovery HD 5-25x50 that is in my opinion far better. Doesn't get fuzzy at the upper end of the magnification, colors and clarity = better. At ( less than) half the price. No more Hawke scopes for me.As a side note:
Hawke and UTG scopes have changed so much over the last couple years, my older versions really can't be compared to what's currently being offered.
The prices I paid are significantly lower than today's market ..... maybe the scopes are better now ..........
Edit: Additionally, at Hawkes pricing, you are approaching the price of the Leupold 6.5-20x40 EFR , which blows away completely, Anything Hawke ever manufactured. It's not even close. I'm surprised that the Leupold is rarely mentioned, especially for airguns. It doesn't weigh 2 pounds, the finish is exceptional, the glass is mind blowing, color clarity and contrast is stunning. Yet people will spend 700.00 on a Hawke.

I took one of those of my Ruger and used it on the 97K while the 6X24X50 ffp was down. I have an Element 4X16X44 coming for the new 35E. We'll have to see.
Crowski has a bunch of Element 6X24X50's on springers. I hadn't heard of him having issues with his. I did hear him say that he took a Hawke for for warranty at one point.

Mount your scopes in Burris Signature rings with the plastic inserts which mitigate the vibration from the spring. I have a Hawke Sidewinder, Airmax, and multiple Sightron STacs. Many thousands of shots on all, no problems. I like the Sightrons best, clear and bright, but I would like more power that the Stacs offer. I like the Sidewinder but hate all their reticles. I am not fond of the Airmax although it has been flawless. I have won matches with all of them.
