FX My shots become terrible after...

There's something terribly wrong with my setup. Impact M3 22 cal. I was shooting Diablo Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13 grains and accuracy was decent. I was using what FX gave me: Line 4, Macro Wheel 16, Micro wheel 2.6, 1st Regulator 150, 2nd regulator 87 (or you could say 90).

Now, I switched to FX Pellets 25.4 grains, the only thing (this YouTube guy said) was to change the 2nd regulator to 95. Did that, but now the accuracy is terrible.

What did I do wrong? What else do I need to change? I'm still new to tuning, so I'm not sure what needs to change.

Okay, will try that tomorrow. When I first attempted to adjust the 2nd regulator to 95, I thought I had to screw in the safety screw (on the trigger assembly), and my ball-end 1.5mm allen-head screwdriver (the tiny ball-end) broke in the hole, so now it's stuck in there. I wonder what size is this screw? It's this screw (at 5:56 on this video):

We will !

Keep us posted !
Good news to report. Got a few chances to go to the woods and glad to report, the accurate is really good up to 45-50 yards. After that, the drop is noticeable, but that's the best an amateur can do, I guess. Got about 5 squirrels to show for, but sorry, no pictures to post here. Happy PCP'in!!!

Now all you have to think for replacing the Allen screw in reg 2... You will need that if you want to explore your gun more

Actually, the reg 2 adjusting screw still works fine. It's the safety screw that got busted, but I already got it replaced with a stainless steel screw. My only issue now is the pressure keeps going down in cold weather hunting (I posted it on another thread). If I keep hunting in cold weather (like mid-40s), the PSI will keep going lower. I'm not sure how low it can go if I hunt the whole day. Two weeks ago, I hunted just a few hours and it went down from 300 BAR to 220 in a matter of few hours. And it was going even lower, but I went home. It's completely fine in warmer weather, but cold weather makes it shiver...LOL....

I had an issue (many years ago) when my paper targets at 30m went to sh1t.

I was shooting the length of my city centre garden and went from ragged single hole groups to perhaps three inches.

I spent ages working on the rifle (HW100), polishing the barrel, polishing trigger sears, noting pressures over a shot string. The works.

My garden range is over a pond.

Eventually I noticed that the bull rushes in the pond were peppered with holes!

A simple leaf is enough to deflect trajectory of a pellet.

Good luck with twigs!

Another squirrel went down by my M3. What I found out is, though, with pellets, any twigs in front of the squirrel will alter the pellet in such a way that it misses hitting the target. Hopefully, with slugs, it has a little more trajectory to go through small twigs and still hit the target.
Slugs will do almost the same thing.
