On, Canada
When I was in AGS last week the owner gave me a couple tins of Chinese rounds to try. Said they were new. I don’t know if new just in Canada or globally. The tins are decent with foam adhered to the lid to prevent damage. He said they were cheaper.

They had a loose fit compared to the JSB 13.—. Clean looking as well

JSB on left. I found them to be accurate in my 54. This is 5-6 shots 45 yds.

Have to say I‘m impressed. Caught totally of guard. Crow

Yep! Several of my guns have shown promise with them. I (and others) have done some sorting, and found them to be more consistent in weight than the JSB's as well.
So far, so good here!
They’re fast to copy.
About 30 yrs. ago I used to sell hockey goal equipmen. The Chinese started making goal pads. They were so bad, they were unsellable, shipped them back. Within 4 yrs. as long as we supplied them with our material, it was hard to tell the difference.
These pellets are clean and I think smoother. Crow
The JTS pellets have been getting good marks from most who have sampled them.

Regarding price, the pre-release marketing claimed they would be less expensive than JSB but to the best of my knowledge that hasn’t panned out, at least not yet.
He said they were new. Maybe in his store.
He said they were cheaper. I’ll ask next time in. Crow

Thanks to Nitrocrushr for turning me on to these. I just recieved 17 more tins today. The 18.01 shoot under 2 inches with good conditions at 100 yds most of the time in my Diana 54 in .22. Half inch at 50 with the 18.01s and the 16.01. At 20 meters indoors the 16.01s shot in the .1s and zeros, all 5 shot groups. The rifle is not even tuned with these pellets, I think I might do that tomorrow. I weighed 25 out of the first tin, not worth the time to weigh.

When I think Chinese pellets I think them sad green plastic tins that use to come with the once every 6 months farmers market parking lot Cummings tool truck 25$ underlever air rifles .. lol

I do kinda wondered why we don't see more china pellets of quality sold ..

Pretty much been crosman , or whoever big 3 EU brands or makes. Recently now like some Brazil /S.A .

You'd kinda think china ones would be common like china stuff usually is ..

Crow, Here is a close-up inside one of my tins. Same smooth, uniform pellets as shown in your picture above. I spot check the weight too and they are probably the most consistent pellets I have seen straight from the tin.

Haven’t seen these pellets in Australia yet. I shoot the H&N Greens in my Hw50S and my LGV. The Greens are more accurate then any lead pellet I have used.
In the photos the JTS pellets look very similar to the Greens which are tin I believe. I wonder?

My bad thinking again

You got crosman selling a " made in USA" 500 count tin at 7$ and american union workers involved

You got jst made in china and some sweatshop guy working 16hrs for a bowl of rice and 250 count for $12

I'm pretty sure I won't see any spectacular results between my stuff shooting the cphp and the jts . Like the others maybe marginal depending at best.

So may as well go crosman and maybe save a few usa guys jobs ..

I wouldn't be surprised if part of the cost difference is the Chinese manufacturer has more people doing QC. Weighing and separating pellets at the factory.

Tariffs 🥴. Another thing is crosman tries to keep there pellets local available as well. Not a mail order only. Walk in every day Walmart.. you even take mail order crosman like at pa or agd a tin is 12$. That's walk in Walmart $7 .
Anyway the China product should be under selling like me most china stuff does . That jts must be making a killing in markup..

Pellets are machine made, where the machine is “set it and forget it” for a few hours. The only advantages the Chinese have are the environmental laws and ironically the low pay allows them to do better quality control on what comes out of the machine. There is very little Union labor involved in transporting pellets from US factory to Walmart.

The US manufacturers should be investing heavily in optical and weight check quality control machinery, but they won’t unless their margins start shrinking from Chinese competitors. They may even decide to just relabel Chinese stuff in the future. I love America, but there is a lot of hubris when it comes to American companies. I wish more US companies were proud of their work like the Germans.
