3-12x32 scope choices?

I am wanting a scope that is at least 12x on upper end and 3x-4x on lower end but need it to be 32mm and 1" tube. A 40mm is hitting barrel so not considering anything over 32mm. I realize l could just get higher rings and a cheek pad but what's the fun in that. The only 3-12x32 scope, I can find reasonable priced, is the UTG 3-12x32 bug buster or l am l missing one? Any negatives on this scope. It doesn't come with a etched glass reticle so looking at a thick reticle. 150.00 so glass is probably urr. Just building a 30 yard squirrel walk about gun. Thanks, Don

I have several great little scope , shot this target with this scope at 30 yards

Athlon Talos I use. Great lifetime warranty too that's a plus if springer use and ever needed .. oops it's a 40mm ...

Sorry

Maybe be chech ring hight specs .. you may find a low ring that's just a smiggin taller to clear a 40mm.
I agree, Athlon has a great warranty. They just replaced a Talos that my HW50 killed. I sold the new replacement. Don

Delivery isn't until Jan 02(estimated)! They also are using a brand name that I know they are stealing probably to boost sales...but the price is right and good specs. Big gamble but ay I am on the same hunt for a reasonably priced scope. 70 sold with 3 positive reviews, and the store itself is 4.7~ avg on reviews.

3-15x44 ffp scope
Thanks for the link but a 44mm will not work for my project, l need a 32mm. Don

If nearly 5" of eye relief will work for you, then a used Burris Timberline 4.5-14x32 is worth looking for. You might find one for your budget. The long eye relief comes with the tradeoff of a narrow field of view.

There used to be a handful inexpensive 2-12x32 scope brands. All the same body & specs, just different reticles. Not sure if any are still in production. One of them got positive reviews from airgunners. Believe it was the Vector Optics version. I do not recall if these had 1" tubes.

As far as the Bugbuster, I had the 3-12x32 & didn't care for it. One of those scopes I wanted to like but just didn't.

Eyebox was tight at 12x which doesn't work well with some vision issues I have.

As I recall the reticle was true at 10x instead of max power. I prefer SFP reticles to be true at max power. Not a huge deal since I didn't care for the eyebox at 10x anyways.

I bought a Vector Veyron 3-12x44 on Ali. The first scope was terrible image quality. I sent them photos from a scope camera. They sent me a brand new one that has good image quality.

This was the orginal. I can't find the photo of the replacement.
