Oh yeah he got me for sure. This is the address he gave.Red flag he joined Nov, 2020, didn't begin posting until Oct. 14 2023 and then began seeking trades after his 10 posts and 10 day waiting period.
Sad truth is, he probably finessed ya. Sorry to hear it though and hope we're both wrong!

Yeah I never did any research on anything. It was all my fault but I learned my lesson.IMO he probably intercepted the package at his post office if you provided any kind of tracking. Always verify addresses especially here on AGN.

Yes I emailed them last night and told them. He's supposedly soon to be ex got back to me this morning and said he got into trouble and she was going to make it right. I told her I hope it works out that I don't wish ill on anyone. She asked for my address and what I had bought. I told her(him) that I didn't trust anything from this handle and don't worry about me. I haven't heard backHis account is still active. Have you reported this directly to AGN admin? Should also post feedback in his profile.

You can only protect yourself so much. I've have purchased 3 items from AGN members, Been lucky no problems, Honest folks. I am not going to press my luck further. Sorry this happened to you and others here on AGN. Anyone have thoughts on a "Go Fund Me" for AGN members that suffer theft? Bill
Still no guarantee. Easy to find ad posts from members of a few years with high post counts that only posted their required 10. When you look at post history the rest are all in classifieds. Every new post and every renewal there each in turn add one to post count. Many of the posts can just be ad renewals.these are all reasons i only buy from established members with a post history
If it's F&F then you can't revert a transaction. If it's G&S then you can prove that it was delivered with a valid tracking number showing that it was actually delivered. Even better, ship it with signature confirmation, then there is no way to dispute it as "not delivered" IMHO. I had some luck fighting against similar chargeback scams, but under different circumstances, not related to AGN sales. Hopefully, I'll never have to do it.Has anyone here been scammed while selling and being paid via PayPal? As in they claim to not receive the item and PayPal just takes the money back?
