StrelokPro scope selection option

Last year I bought TWO newly released Athlon Heras 6-24x56 FFP IR Mil scopes.

Before I could get my scopes mounted and set up, StrelokPro was shut down because of the Russian V Ukrainian conflict. I contacted Igor - StrelokPro’s inventor, owner, via Facebook but he didn’t have an option for me. Thus the scopes were just sitting on my shelf unused.

I’m stubborn so I got to thinking that the reticle used by Athlon might match a previous Athlon reticle and since ballistics are ballistics, I began going through StrelokPro / Athlon scope options and I found that the Athlon Cronus 4.5-29x56 FFP IR MIl reticle looked like a very close match.

Today I can say “yes” it will work - at least for HFT’s 10 to 55 yard requirement because after entering all my pertinent information into StrelokPro and selecting the Cronus model mentioned, each and every actual shot taken matched the StrelokPro holdover points.
🤩
If you’re in the same situation as I was in, give it a try.

I've noticed that in Strelok Pro the two different scopes I've used on the same rife have the same trajectory chart. Different reticles, but isn't an MOA an MOA? Or a MIL a MIL? All things being equal? Honest question since I'm not nearly knowledgeable enough in this area to be sure I'm correct.
Yes, I do get that the reticle view within the app would be different.

Yes, you can use a different but similar reticle and all things are equal and based on math with ballistics apps. I've been in this same situation recently and simply use a similar reticle offered in Strelok. It doesn't have to be from the same manufacturer either. You do have to set the click value and whether it's FFP and your in business.
