This looks interesting. One line I noticed: "One of the strengths of Carbon Cylinder breathing air cylinders is their remarkable lightness... a portable and easy-to-handle solution for activities such as scuba diving, paintball, target shooting and hunting with PCP rifles." (Emphasis mine.) So, it seems they recognize the market (small though it is).
Also interesting is that not all the cylinders are, well, cylindrical. They have both square and rectangular tanks available (no more rolling away!). And, "Oxidation is completely excluded thanks to the cutting-edge solution of using a plastic liner."
It will be interesting to see how these pan out in the coming years.

I like the concept, not sure I'm crazy about the "square" cylinders though. Physics dictates corners would not be as strong as continuous smooth surface.

For sure and are fatigue points. It's why aircraft windows are round/oval.
I keep my tank in a bag to protect it. No rolling around.

Agree! BOAC found that out the hard way when the 1st ever commercial passenger jets disintegrated in flight due to SQUARE windows!

As above. High pressure in globes or cylinders (ideally with domed ends). I am not putting my face three inches from 300 bar in a square section tank. Just as I won’t walk under suspended loads. It may not happen but ‘you never count your money at the table’
