external temp gauge to a GX CS3 or CS4 ?

I moved it to the opposite side of where the sensor is located on the top of the cylinder. See below. I used a piece of aluminum tape like to use in HVAC duct work to hold it in place. Since the factory sense is on the other side I fugyred this would show the same temperature the sense is sending to the control board.

This is the sensor that runs to the control board.

That's what I was wanting to see. If I could find a 12v digital Farhenheit gauge I could maybe wire it into the factory wiring harness and not need an external power supply. Is "taping" the temp sensor onto the top of the pump working good for you?

Thanks

Yes, it's holding there just fine. How about something like this? It does both and is battery operated.

Just curious
What temperature range have you been getting for your CS-4 @FLgunner?

Mine runs cool enough that I can put a finger into the cooling water

Thanks
Edward
I can top off a 580cc tank and it never gets much hotter than normal body temperature! I don't think I've ever seen it hit more than about 110F and that was filling the large 580cc tank on my Factor RC after it leaked down to zero because I set the regulator pressure too low! It's crazy how cool it runs!

So far I've only filled a few guns from 2k to 3k and just last night hooked it to my SCBA tank. It was down to 3k and I did two 10 minute runs with 20+ minutes of cool down between each run and it brought the tank up to 3600psi. The air coming out of the radiator was only slightly warm. Almost to hard to tell from room temp. I've got to get an external temp gauge mounted on mine so I can track it closer. But so far it works great. Not fast, but just slowly chugs along. It's super quiet when running. I did notice a little water coming from the bleed hose between those fills. I do have an inline filter between it and the tank and it never had any water in it, it was bone dry. I'm tickled with it so far. :)
