For some reason, I think it needs speed, something an airgun can't give it. It's designed for close and personal use, IMHO.

I’ll have to search up the substantiating evidence. Intuitively I expect Hogkiller’s comment is true...for it to be effective, seems like its BC would need to be deliberately atrocious. Useful for a handgun at 5 - 7 yards for self defense but not so good for even 25-50yd airgun duty.

i you look straight down it looks like a boat prop , so spinning it throws energy out and creates more shock and damage . I was just thinking it might carry more damage to a coon or yote .
