My sons donated three used CF 4.5k paintball tanks. I decided to try this non regulated $50 valve as regulators did not come with tanks.

Mine came with no leaks and the two small gauges were within 50 psi of my 3” test gauge with 100 psi divisions.

The valve is smooth but needs to be cracked slowly for smaller reservoirs. I robbed one of my Yong Heng brass burst disk, punched tiny center hole and dropped in fill hose port that you have to screw in to use. Disk is between nylon seal washer and hose fitting. Much reduced flow now. I filled my Disco rat smacker to 2k, no problems. I de-rated tanks to 4k max, but wish the cheap valve had adjustable output reg for max safety, no?

I have that same valve in 18x1.5, and it was OK but I'm not currently using it due to the same issues - I wanted it to fill my Air Arms Alpha, and the reservoir on that is only ~25ccs, so it was too hard to control.. I replaced it with exactly what you are looking for, but it again is 18x1.5 thread size. I got it from Airgun Archery Fun shipped from Canada. I looked, but I only see it in that size, not the one you use. Here is the link to the item - you could contact them to see if they can get it in 5/8-18 . . . It works perfectly for me and holds air great - I have it on an unused aluminum 500cc bottle and I get several fills from it.

Nice find @AlanMcD. Very few options for the 5/8-18 bottles but restrictor makes it livable, but if new tank, I would go your way.

Not sure what your asking. If threads same, why not? If metric I would choose the one Alan suggested. Easy returns to Amazon...

This will not fit a standard SCBA 1hr bottle.
