Time will tell but I'm liking it better then the old hornets I last used ..

I'm sure something more then not compressing the spring end is involved , but.... ijdk. Different steel, suppler, something... Anyway so far so good / impressed with it ..

8 or 10 shots in like flint cant complain.. it's singing them in nice as my old eyes can hold on the bull.

Old had compressed coils the " latest' don't . Also funny the Id is a bit larger .

Overall the " latest" spring seemed to go together a lot smoother and shoots great ..

Go figure ?

I would say the larger diameter will be easier to cock and smoother, at least with my springs that was the case.

If it's larger it's just 1000ths. The " latest" fits the stock hw guides I got near perfect vs not so with the older I was using ..

Idk, for me and my unprofessional tune job the "latest" was more smooth sailing . Everything just went together well no mess no fuss..lol.

Heck next time maybe a super pain in the butt. Lol

The shipping lable the order for that spring was april 2 so pretty farn close to a year of shooting ..lol.

Funny i dont think shot amount just time in days worth..

Grab a piece of wood dowling and keep it on hand for getting stuck pellets out. No digging required, just push it thru or back out. Actually a good idea to test your bore for tight or loose spots.
