Buck-Rail quality

So When I purchased my outstanding original Avenger .22, I got a smoking deal on a very lightly used rifle. And it came dressed in a T————r brand tactical stock. This thing has broken twice now, and the second time was catastrophic. Non repairable. So … after using and enjoying a couple of Buck-Rail products, I decided to try his version as a replacement. All I can say is WOW again. Terry’s stuff is miLes ahead of the competition! This thing is EASY to install, and so much better build quality. Fit and finish is excellent, not to mention a little less expensive, and Terry stands behind everything he produces. I, for one, am totally impressed and satisfied.
Thanks again Buck-Rail for making truly quality and affordable products. Keep up the good work.

That reminds me I was going to pick up a moderator for my Guantlet .25 from Buck Rail. Haven't decided if I'm going with the end cap, and just use the Buck Rail moderator that currently is attached to my Kral NP-03 .25, or get the "Guantlet moderator" that inserts into the shroud.

Probably will get the DFL end cap and buy it from Buck Rail. That moderator works incredibly well on my NP03 I'm sure it will do the same on the G2. Anything that's a low/medium power PCP in .25 and under I would go with Buck Rail no question.

I've had a ldc on my liberty that was SO quiet. I did some work on the barrel and when I put it I wasn't as careful as I should've been and pellets clipped the ldc and blew it up.😂🤣😂. I've got a screw on ldc on my impact that works very well but not as quite as the 1 I had on the liberty. I had vented the shroud with 2 little holes near the breach end and I could hear the air that the air stripper had stripped hissing out but not loud. By the way, the one that fits the avenger also fits the Liberty which is what I used. 👍👍👍👍

Silver,
BuckRail "internal" .25 moderator for Original Gauntlet .25, louder than baffles that replaced OEM "cigar" baffle. BuckRail .25 moderator for Airacuda Max clipped pellets just like 5 other moderators (.25/.30.) Bought DFL 1/2-20 adapter from BuckRail on 11/25, the BuckRail .25 moderator, purchased for Max, clipped pellets on Gauntlet, too, visible wobble when installing. I'd pass on "internal" BuckRail, get DFL adapter and always go one caliber up with moderator. WM

Hey WM thanks for the feedback. As it turns out my wife bought the "internal" .25 Guantlet moderator and it came in today late for Christmas. So I installed it and took a test shot. Reduces the "pop" sound and replaces it with a still very noticeable "hiss". So, while it's an improvement, I'm sure using the normal Buckrail moderator or any DonnyFL would quiet it down more. As it only adds a few inches to the barrel and adds no weight, for $20 my first impression is it's a worthwhile add on in situations like mine where I don't really need to be silent, so much as just not louder than necessary. I noticed some of the reviews said this internal moderator improved accuracy, so I'm looking forward to testing that out some day soon.

I think the DFLs I have on my 30 cals are 30/357 sized. They work well, solidly built, never clipped. But the 30 cals are a lot louder and more power so require more serious sound suppression. $200 or $20... sometimes you can get by with the cheap, sometimes you can't

Can't speak to the G2, no clear improvement over the baffles I used to replace OEM "cigar" baffle. Think G2 already uses baffles, the "cigar" ended with first generation. Recently got around to completing Hajimoto's shroud venting upgrade, from video, really does vent, light residue from Mr. Clean eraser ended up under venting hole after test firing. Using an empty (Silent Thunder Ordnance) Pugio shell, with M14 exit end cap replacing .30 one, now. Looks weird but backyard friendly. WM
