Air Arms TX200HC Steel End Cap

My HC was purchased used number of years ago and not a pristine specimen. I was thinking of adding a moderator and looked at the end cap and that plastic piece was just boogered up. Somebody had also shortened it so it wasn't extended down to the barrel end. Out of boredom decided to make a replacement but this time out of steel. I didn't make the extension down towards the barrel end as the gun seemed to shoot fine with the previous plastic one without that. This is just a quickie I knocked out on my Sherline lathe and just sprayed some black paint on it.
I may make a nicer one a little bit later. But I went and shot the gun and just as accurate as before.

I also did make the moderator adapter and tried it with a moderator but it was just too dang long.

Nice! maybe the next challenge could be making an air stripper?

-Marty

I'm a little reluctant to do so. Because I shoot a lot of rimfire stuff. So I am using ones made by other companies specifically marked air gun only.
I get a little worried. Having a lathe and a mill and making stuff athe Alphabet org might decide Can be used on my other firearms.
