I've been looking at buying an Evol and noticed something about the trigger looked oh so familiar. Not that there would be any need to replace it, but is the Evol trigger the same as the Remington 700? That would open the door to some astronomically good triggers.

Even if it used a Remington hanger, I'm sure the top sear is specific to the rifle. But given its design, I believe it could be adjusted to provide anything you want, maybe requiring some spring changes.

Well, from the drawings and photos, the top sear looks very similar, and even if it's different, it might fit in a Rem trigger. It sure looks the same to me, but you can't tell from pics. Just an observation, as there are literally tons and tons of true match grade triggers for Remingtons out there. It's interesting to think someone would have the foresight to design an airgun around one.
