Love rain days. This morning I shot 3 guns in common with the Weihrauch stainless version. It sure is a durable finish. And for a change they look good, they dress up nicely.
‘First up is a gem HW97 .20. If I notched this for tree rats, it would be saw dust. A gun you can measure everything to.

Another I shot, a 97 Blackline .22. Another Rocky gun. Love the stainless on black.

I could part with this gun, but it’s like one of the children. Staying for now.
Now this next rifle is very special. My newest, I bought this from my buddy. This is the first Weihrauch I ever saw, the start. It’s about 8 yrs. old, had nothing done to it and shoots like a dream. HW80 .22. Another black.

My friend sprayed some SC1 all over this gun 2 years ago. No fingerprints, zero. I think he said it’s used on motorcycles.

Nothing to wipe off. You have to be careful when carrying the barrel is slick. Really enjoy shooting thie one.
Let’s see those stainless guns. I know there’s some keepers out there. Crow

I always enjoy your posts, Crow. Nice rifles for sure. I have owned these in the past. Best regards! BDZ

Only stainless that I have is the CVA 50 cal V2.

Oh man, Crow, you have some beauties! Love that blue and stainless look 97.....and in my favorite caliber! Thanks for sharing. BTW, how do you like the feel of the synthetic 97 compared to wood stock guns? I always wondered if they had more weight forward or vibration? The wood stocks just balance so nicely for me.

I've noticed the blued HW finish is top tier as well. Never one issue. I have no stainless guns, but these are all keepers IMO 😎
Thanks. I prefer the blued barrel. Crow
Those are really nice, thanks for sharing. I would absolutely love an HW30s in stainless with a nice wood sock, hell even the synthetic looks with the stainless finish!
Thanks. I have a 30 on order at AoA. Crow

Thanks. Crow
They are protected by an outer protective layer "Stainless steel look" they are not built from stainless steel because they would be too expensive, but it is definitely better protection against burnishing...
I knew they weren’t stainless, just easier to say. But very durable. Crow.

Here you go, my stainless 22cal HW77 when it was brand new about 7 years ago. This rifle also has never been opened up. It doesn’t need it. Probably the most accurate out of my 4 rifles.

Hey Gary. Love that 77. Crow
The finish is electroless Nickle plating. It actually outperforms stainless in rust testing. My HW80K in .25

DualMagMike outstanding guns. The half shiny are so unique. Crow
Well thank you Crow. This isn’t the first time you’ve given me reason to cry myself to sleep.
My two HWs, 30 and 95, fill all my needs. That has kept me from buying another springer.

I will buy another eventually, and it will be a silver 50, but the blue 97 is really sweet.
Your well come, ha ha. Nothing wrong with a 30 or 95. Crow

I have no idea what a CVA 50 is. But you get a pass with your trade mark cheek riser. Still never got one but I will. Crow

Thanks Chris.
That blue lam has a Vortek spring, yet to change piston seal. It’s a pleasure to shoot.
I’m always shooting off bags, so it’s hard to tell. Crow

I had one for a couple years.
Since January 95, it belonged to a thief. It's current owner is likley legit, and the theives long gone.
Only 50 made I wonder who has my serial number?

Mine was decked out in every thing that I could add. The Beeman 20th bag, the fanciest rifle sling that Beeman offered, the top Blue Ribbon scope, every little thing I could throw money at.
It was a .20 cal squirrel killing machine.

Here is a pic I grabbed from someone for memorys sake.
