@Centercut I saw a made in China pic of a half of the bottom of a tin. The post said they were JTS pellets. I’d like to know who makes what as well. The dead giveaway is the "made in Czech Republic" on JSB and "made in China" on the AEA...![]()
JTS and AEA are China made. I think they are probably made in the same factory. The .30 versions are identical. The .22 and .25 are slightly different.@Centercut I saw a made in China pic of a half of the bottom of a tin. The post said they were JTS pellets. I’d like to know who makes what as well.
I am lookin at a tin of AEA no where on it does it read 'made in china'. In fact it says absolutely nothing. There are very slight differences in the skirt from JSB's. I can say that they work very well in my guns. The dead giveaway is the "made in Czech Republic" on JSB and "made in China" on the AEA...![]()
I have all the flavors of AEA and JTS in .22 and .177 .Back up that's JTS not AEA. Want to make sure we're on the same page here.
Then why does it say made in china...?? I really do not care. They just shoot
I agree. Just like others mentioned probably out of JTS factory made with dedicated dies. I shot the .25 JTS 33.80 gr and I was pleasantly surprised at the grouping at 100 yards. The AEA shot better for me. However, I did not attempt to tune the velocity with the JTS. I run them through at the same settings as for the AEA. Upon closer examination, the AEA, JSB, and JTS have geometrical differences. Definitely not the same pellets. In all honesty JSB seems to have become sloppy and complacent with the quality of their product. The variation and inconsistency between manufacturing lotts is pretty large. Not to mention tolerance defects within the same lot. You can see that on the profile of the pellets. Hopefully having another high quality pellet manufacturer in the industry will keep JSB on their toes and as a result address some of the recent manufacturing slopiness. Time will tell.Cheif … does that sight sell aea pellets? If not they are describing their JSb pellets I believe.
South Korea makes more sense than by JSB.I read a review of AEA airguns on AirGun101.com that was pretty comprehensive. No mention of AEA pellets, but it said AEA airguns on made in South Korea. Not sure how friendly South Korea is with China regarding trade, so I can see AEA not having JTS make pellets for them. Very possible that AEA pellets are made in South Korea. I'm not saying it is certain, but there is also a pretty good chance AEA pellets are not made in China.
If it is South Korea I’d imagine it would be proudly advertised as suchSouth Korea makes more sense than by JSB.
I know you are trying to help, But that information on that site is inaccurate. If you look further, they don't even sell those pellets on the site, only the JSB'sThe Czech Republic
These pellets that we sell are manufactured by JBS and come directly from the factory in the Czech Republic to our warehouse in Spain.
