I have found that .510" to be about the max for any slug that fits in the factory or aftermarket magazine that I have found thus far and was wondering if anyone out there has fabricated a solution for loading longer slugs other than by doing them one at a time by hand.
I can fit the longer slugs for the first shot (obviously) but was wondering if anyone had a solution for something like a tray or gravity feed loader to chamber the higher grain slugs as I would like to have at least two shots with consistent power/ballistics for a follow up shot if necessary. I am planning on a Texas Whitetail hunt this year and I can only hit the Texas requirement of 210 ft/lbs only with 140+grain slugs.
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
