Why no 30 cal H&N pellets?

Ever wonder why they haven't jumped on the 30 cal train yet?

@HN Sport , any chance we will see some 30 caliber offerings from you guys? I'd love to have some baracuda match in the 60 grain range, or some baracuda hunters would be awesome.
Apparently they did at one point.

We did and failed. We were never able to produce the Baracuda .30 without troubles. But we do produce slugs in that caliber.

How do you fail as a pellet manufacturer. 🤨 What I’m hearing is there was no profit , cost to ratio of material was not what a .22 or .177 brings in.
Being there is no market for sub 40 grain .30 caliber pellet as there are but one spring gun made that is not so well revered That would benefit. It’s a mute point. Novelty don’t pay bills. 😉

I have no idea where that story comes from, but, sorry, that's nonsense. We would have loved to keep the product in our range and it would also have been profitable.

Do you have any future plans to make any pellets/slug in .30 or .35?
Our current machines are not suitable for pellets in caliber .30 and above, and we had to admit that at the end of this project.

However, we have not buried the project forever, we just cannot continue working on it at the moment.

IF THERE IS MONEY TO BE MADE, 🤔 THEN why not make it. Investing in new machines and dies is extreemly expensive. Obviously more than planned return. NO ONE LEAVES MONEY TO BE MADE ON THE TABLE.

Now don't forget you got like HW that has not even figured out how to keep there guns screws tight yet ... 🤤

To me there's just a overwhelming amount of ammo to start so that just don't seem practical .
