Is there a website where n50 are held? I life in AR and would like try this sport. Every time I look it up, it seems to be for high schools. Clubs is only thing I can find. Any info would be appreciated.

I don't think there are any clubs in AR....but there is a guy there that travels to OKC and Boerne. Maybe a club could be started?

Does anyone shoot springers at N50?. It looks like all PCP, and that's cool, but I would love to shoot some competition with my Pro Sport/TX200. I am located in NW Indiana.

Which begs the question....Why not? I'm sure that there would have to be a separate "class", but IMHO 50 yards with a good springer is certainly worthwhile....

That's a thought. I know of one guy where I live who might do it. The question then is, where?You can create a club with as few as 2 competitors

I'm not a piston guy, so I can't really say.
My guess is because it's hard enough with a 50fpe pcp.
Most piston guns start to lose a great deal of accuracy once they exceed 16fpe. Nobody even wants to shoot 16fpe PCPs at 50. If it's really light wind a low powered gun can do pretty good, but it's fairly rare for conditions to be so pleasant.

Ask a public range. Hopefully with benches. Maybe during the week when fewer people attend. Can get complicated with 10 competitors on a public range.
Facility may be able to close the public range for you.

I belong to a local sportsman club and I knew of only 2 other Airgun shooters at our club. We have pretty active ARA matches so I thought we could encourage some of those shooters to join us for N50 matches. So we joined N50 and scheduled 2 matches per month April - October. One club member started posting info about our matches on FB and other Airgun forums. Soon we had 20+ shooters showing up and Airgunners were nearly 1/2 of the participants. We just finished our 3rd season and are currently planning our next year’s matches. It’s been a lot of fun and the ARA shooters are actually liking N50 better than ARA matches.
ARA and N50 matches are now generating more income for our club than any other activity that we have tried. The club realizes that these two events are paying the bills and have backed us by putting money back into our range facility. We have expanded our range house and added 4 additional concrete benches under roof bringing our total to 14 benches. We are already talking about adding more benches as we continue to grow.
