How accurate are gauges on guns?

Ooooooh, sorry. My recommendation is to de gas the gun, see if the needle is off of the stop pin when degassed. I've taken note of where it lies and just increased accordingly 😂. If the guage is for general reference only it's no biggy. When tuning I follow all other signs more than a pressure guage number.

Im sorry but this is why there is such a big window for the 0 PSI indicator, these spiral gauges are notoriously inaccurate at low pressures, they are much better at high pressures.

You hit the nail on the head for me. In hindsight I should have worded my question differently. If the gauge is consistently off I'm okay with that as well, That is all I'm worried about! My main concern is the tuning aspect and not blowing myself up!!!!!! For tuning would you suggest just making my adjustments off of my external reg and making notes of where it reads on the gauge itself?
I don’t trust OEM gauges - thus I always underfill

I am new to pcp air guns and air compressors Is there any indication of a gauge on the air gun or the air compressor not reading correctly?
They're just not PRECISION gauges but they do give a close ballpark reading within a couple hundred pounds. It's really not a problem or anything to cause concern.

I have a couple of the huma test gauges to give me an idea how close the other gauges are.

If you get these be careful which you choose and make sure you have the correct adaptor for what you are using it for. One only goes up to 250 bar the other 400 bar but has a G1/4 thread.

Sorry could not post my pictures
