HW/Weihrauch -> Addiction on Display - New Basement Gun Rack

@crowski

I always love seeing your guns. The silver 97 in the blue stock is especially handsome. I wish they would offer them like that!
Thanks. When I saw that rifle for sale I almost broke my finger, hitting the sold button. It’s .20 cal. to sweeten the pot. Crow
I was 👁️ that same one..lol.

Hey Stan, I agree. I started that way. But ran out of wall. View attachment 522029Then had to alternate them which started problems.View attachment 522032I could get 3 more guns in a rack but with complications. The barrel goes under the stock of the gun above making it somewhat tricky to remove. Don’t like this setup. Never dropped one. Knock on wood.
I’m going to have to adopt Kirk’s type of setup and soon. If I remember correctly Lewis had a nice vertical setup as well. Crow
You could just build on a room addition 😎

That is a wonderful display and very accessible and convenient. In my first 30yrs I lived in Wa. and recall some interesting earthquakes.

Just a thought....
Yes, that’s a potential problem for all wall mounted racks :unsure: .
Guns resting on a floor or even gun safes could have their contents damaged.

Best solution if your worried: Earth Quake insurance.
Regular homeowners or renters policy are exempt from acts of God/Nature🤷🏻‍♂️.

only concern i see is those butt pads sitting on the pipe or round bar stock over time
Yeah, the metal butt holders are coated with dense rubber, but I have no idea how they may affect the guns shoulder pads?

I liked the racking system because it was strong, looked good and kept my many guns off the floor, leaning against walls. The whole move was a chaotic mess, so this was my attempt to create order and have them in the same area as my shop.

I painted the basement walls white to give the room more light. It also makes a nice contrast against the rack.

Oh i see didn't notice the tucked under barrel stuff . But at the rate your going an addition room (room's ?) will probably be the best in the long run . 😎
