O rings on Probe

Just put Orings on one of my probes, Yes it was leaking air when I tried to fill Pistol,,, Seems there would be something to spread the o'ring out and just slide it on the probe,
Is there any such tool?? Maybe a wood or steel stick just a little bigger than the probe, a cone shaped tool ..
Took me an hour just to put two small 0 rings on a probe, Got to be a easier way..
Maybe we need a space just for air gun tools ,,

There is. It’s using a piece of string/thread to stretch the o ring while slipping it over the end of the probe. I’ve attached a YT link showing how it’s done on a pellet probe but the practice is the same. Starts at about the 2 1/2 minute mark. Put just a tad of silicone grease before you install. Makes it slightly easier.
And BTW, it works great too on a pellet probe 😉

I’ve done it with two pieces of dental floss, onto a Gamo Urban probe.

Today's hint for 90 duro o-rings to stretch them, put them in boiling water, they stretch easier then when they cool down they're fine.

Squeeze them, i.e. try to deform them, the 90's are STIFF. I'll bet you got a load of 70's. I'm going to go off on a guess here, because I'm not familiar with your gun, but if you are putting it on the probe they are probably 70's. In the case of the FX regulators they are using a couple of 90s on the parts that move. I use 70's on my probes/breeches with a dab of Mobil 1 as a lubricant. They last quite a while as in multiple thousands of pellets.

But at £50 a pop you'd need to do alot of Orings to justify the outlay. As above.... biro pen tip 👍
