You did it now. I went to Alchemy and looked at a steel breech and Kit for my 1377 carbine project.

No sir, trigger shoes for the 1701 are out there -a trigger shoe for a 1701 trigger really how would that work
you could put a trigger shoe on a 2240 trigger but not the wide trigger used on the 1701
the only other option i know is a Cothran stainless trigger for the 1701

The Cothran trigger blade IS the best option, but don't think Don is making more of those, or anything else for that matter. He's a heck of a guy and my favorite machinist, but the gentleman is retired.
He opened back up recently. I guess the wife was nagging him too muchAgain, I stand corrected, and am actually glad I was wrong!

I reached out to him and asked if he would drill the valve holes into a tube if i bought one and he said no. Like Steve said, he's DONE.True, same reason why he doesn’t have the current tubes in PCP form.
I think there’s an issue with the ID![]()

I bought all my trigger shoes from Crosman, but I think you’d need to own a CCS gun.
They’re about $5 vs the $20 something others are selling them for
The red, which has another part number (have it at home), is cheaper.
View attachment 529231I do have a CCS 1300KT that's when I purchased one and it does what I need. I never have seen or used any other shoe on any of the Crosman I own.
I like trigger shoes they give my finger more surface which gives a leverage advantage on the pull, at least thats what I believe I'm feelingI ordered one from AlchemyAirWerks today. I got the brass one to match the bolt and handle.
