BSA LIGHTNING clx. Not sure if it’s gonna make it over here soon or at all. Hopefully it’s a better trigger and breech block set up. They are offering it in walnut.

Actually Gamo and BSA are now sister companies. To find out all about this rifle go to the Gamo USA web site and view it under PCP rifles. It will take you to the BSA web site. They had a few last week , however looks like this week the add to cart is disabled so they must have ran out of them. It is available in Walnut, a very pretty Laminate, and a Red Pepper Cheyanne which is the one I am waiting for.

Cheers
Kit

Gamo has owned BSA since the 80s and left them alone for the most part until mid 2010s

Gamo, BSA and Crosman are under the Daisy ownership group at this time.

I read a few posts on the UK forums and it's supposed to be all UK made parts and a new trigger. Here are a few pics a UK user posted. Im hoping it's a nice gun. My fav springer is still my Lightning XL with a Spitfire barrel.

I love the looks of the Lightning. Reminds me of a LGU. Would have one in a heartbeat but they come with a moderator which is illegal here. Crow
That's unfortunate about the LDC. Hopefully they have a Supersport version or a Canadian friendly one. UK forums listed the folllowing features

Definitely coil spring powered
Minelli stocks (walnut limited)
Made in Birmingham
New two stage trigger
Threaded breech bolt
Different length barrels for .177 and .22
Different transfer ports for .177 and .22 (possibly swappable)

Another five minutes I’m gonna ask you to stop talking.
Silencers are the only thing I have to watch for or a pistol that’s over 500 fps.
I have a BSA Polaris .22. A tack driver and one of my hardest hitters. Just don’t like the breach. Would like a Lightning. Crow
I got a Polaris in .177 and it's a good shooter. Had some chatter marks at the muzzle which I polished out and it shoots better now.

All speculation but a few ppl suggested they're bringing out an underlever. Hopefully a newer Superstar.

Let me tell you about the most frustrating air rifle I own. Why is it frustrating? It is good-looking, light, and handles so well. It feels good holding it. I want it to be accurate and a joy to shoot, but.
The BSA Lightning XL SE is its name.it is the gas ram type. No matter what pellets I use, no matter how hard I try, this rifle just plain shoots badly.
I tried so hard to make it work, but no. Others have had the same problem.
BSA,just like the motorcycle, looks good but breaks down.
Do any of you own this model?
