RWS RWS 350 new vortek spring

After replacing my worn out spring and breach seal in my 10 year old RWS 350 I got this group
at 20 yards open sighted. And I am weeks away from being 65 years old. this gun shoots legit again
even with my diminished eye sight, center one blur in the middle of the other and walla! :)

The sights are new also, I dropped it down steps and broke them off. That gun has been to H3ll and back.

My 350 will out shoot most all my much milder springers. Never could figure out why...it just does.

Years ago when I was researching for my second German springer after the abysmal HW95L, I took a shine to the 350 Mag, but many guys on these forums had pretty dim views on them; hard to shoot, stick to the smaller guns etc. etc.

When I got my 350, I used it straight off the cuff to make some open sights kills at 20 yards and more. I couldn't agree these are hard-to-shoot guns, even though I admit they take good follow-through to perform. I guess my late Gamo 440 had schooled me on that.

It has been my workhorse for 30 years, the first one I got lasted me about 15 years till the trigger went out
and I scrapped it, then I got another one, the T06 trigger is the best of all my guns. I think the previous was
T05? Had 2 RWS 34's, 2 Gamo whispers, Gamo magnum, piece of crap crosman from Walmart, RWS break barrel
target pistol, 2 Daisy redrider's. I started with the RWS 34 when I was 18, never looked back, got hooked.

That is satisfying I bet. Good work. I have a Ruger Air Magnum which is a copy of the RWS 350. The trigger is plastic but I like the gun a lot despite that. It was my first airgun.

Hmmm ...I wonder if the vortek spring kit you got would fit mine... The power has decreased a bit over the past couple years. From 24 ft lbs down to 20-21. Consistent shooter though.
