Umarex Umarex Notos Review

I picked up a Umarex Notos the other day and have been very impressed so far for what it is. The numbers on the chronograph are straight out of the box. I haven't fine tuned anything yet. It's shooting very nice groups with the factory barrel. I was getting easily under a dime at 50 yds and under a quarter at 75 yds. And I am excited about all the aftermarket options to bump the performance up on these. Although I may have to order another one to modify because I hate to tear this one apart as good as it is shooting. I will keep you guys posted on updates and modifications that we try.

My buddy bought one the other day and brought it over to the house to chrony it. It was not a full fill so I only ran 12 shots, 20 ft/lbs with an ES of 4 straight out of the box, that's pretty amazing. Now we're figuring out what to do with that awful trigger.

Yeah the trigger is less than desirable. But there are spring kits out there for them. I have one of them on order. Also the QD Fox mags work great.

Yep! I am a HUGE fan of the notos and honestly think its the best bang for the buck PCP rifle in existence.

Throwing my data findings in here purely if anyone is interested:

822 fps with 14.3gr = 21.5 FPE
580 fps with 30gr SLUGS = 22.4 FPE
758 fps with 18.13gr = 23.14 FPE

Accuracy I haven't been able to do better than roughly ~1.5" at 50 yards due to periodic fliers.

I did destroy the OEM suppressor on mine after the wife double loaded a pellet by accident and it clipped one of the baffles and ruined its accuracy.

There are options to fix that.

Is this with stock settings? I haven't touched the reg or hammer spring on mine and am about 18.5 fpe with various weight pellets.
