Calling starlings lol

I have a foxpro hellcat that I downloaded some starling in distress sounds on, somehow I was able to figure it out being so tech savvy at 62 that I am. Well anyway been a slow pesting winter season here, so with some warmer temps tonight I decided to try the starling in distress call this evening and it worked well immediately had birds circling the old cottonwood tree looking for what was making the racket, first a pair landed and I popped 1 and then a couple singles arrived about 10 minutes apart to be taken out by my 22 cal RTI! This was fun not sure how well it’ll wrk the next time but I guess I’m gonna find out!

I've found the calls work well for a while, but once all the flocks in the territory have dealt with 'hear call, investigation, many lost' a few times they start to keep distance. Birds can recognize individual "voices" and call patterns. Change the call up if you can. If you're using samples from online.

Find the food item your local winged rats can't resist and leave a bountiful serving out. I know this is hard... Let them get used to it being safe.. then when you get some numbers. Whack them
