GX-E-5K1 or 5K2

anybody use these compressors to fill their guns, thinking about buying a nicer compressor then my CS4 and wondering how these do when used for filling your rifle. Do they get rifle tanks too warm? Looking for the auto purge function on next compressor don't believe the 5k1 has it only 5k2.
Doesnt seem to be many people with them not tons of info out there.
Was thinking about getting the Daystate Super Leggaro but no auto purge and about 900.00 more.

Don't own GX pumps but watched videos regarding the GX-CS4's Big Brother. GX backed off recommending filling over 3L tanks with CS4, suggesting CS5 is better choice. Direct gun filling from CS4 or either version CS5 is not an issue. Yong Heng is faster and gun tanks get warm but there's no problem. Price of single cylinder CS5 is around 1K while twin cylinder version adds $800-900 more. If keen to upgrade, CS5 single cylinder is fine, you'll need to determine if extra features of twin cylinder are worth it. WM

I had an Omega Supercharger and now have an Omega turbocharger and both have auto purge. We decided years ago that the GX platforms are from the factory who produced the Omegas. I just looked on the AOA website and they don't advertise those 2 Omega's anymore. I put 260 hours on the supercharger over 5 years. I now have 75 hours on the Turbocharger after 3 years. it is twice as fast as the supercharger and I would recommend the 2 cylinders. I fill guns, esp. the ones that need 300 bar and a tank, usually form around 3500 psi to 4500 psi. I don't put as many hours on now because our club has a Bauer, but I do use the omega at least once a week when I'm shooting at home. I wouldn't consider the purge function as a show stopper. Our Bauer doesn't have auto purge or auto shut off.
I had a tuxing clone for a short time between the 2 Omegas. It fried after 12 hours, always got hot quickly which the Omegas don't. It was much faster than the Omegas. Had a warranty through Amazon.

I have a Super Leggro, Omega Aircharger, and a GX CS4. The water pump on my CS4 just died. But the other two have been stellar!

i have the Gxe 5k2 bought about a month ago
comes with wheels also a water separator
you can find them just under 1k its not small but worth every penny if filling tanks .
I have the 5K2 as well and I've never seen them under 1000. I paid 2300 for mine, then they dropped them to 1700.....wasn't real happy about that.

I recently bought a GX-E-5K1 from the GX Store. $900 even - delivered to my door.

See my thread for fill times (177 minutes to fill 9L from 0-4,600psi). I can’t imagine seeing the need for the 5K2 for home use… and I have 15 PCPs, lol.

Lol, or you could be like me and have the 5k2 for 3 years and it has less than 2 hours on it 🤣. I'm a busy man.
