RR containers

4 40 foot containers = 160 feet end to end , or a 50 yard indoor range with 10 feet shooting stand room . 2025 avg . cost per /delivered = $1500 (x4 = $6000 ! 6K for an indoor 50 yard range , nice ! Never get past my wife but interesting . maybe if we lived on a farm with a mound / hill of land hiding it ?

One timer use are expensive but if one purchased a beat up unit cheap and strapped it out and put a fake roof on it would look great?
I would do that in heart beat but never see any around here you would think there would be?
when I work in the ship yard you could get them super cheap but that was years ago

bury it, problem solved.
Then its two fold, bug out/storm shelter and range all in one!
their was a guy on here that buried a steel tunnel and drilled a hole in the basement wall . it was made out of the culvert tubes (under driveway ) stuff . Think i remember 50 yards ?

It's be easy enough to buy some 36" PVC pipe and bury it. Then just have one spot at each end to shoot from and change targets out....unless you ran some cable and pulley set up for targets. Even then some serviceability access would be nice.
They have them in 14-foot pieces for around $212ish apiece. 11 pieces per 50 yards would work out to $2,340, plus the holes at each end and burial/backfill cost.
Using SDR35 sewer pipe, not couplings are needed, goes together with gasketed bell ends.

Just a thought.

Mike

I know of a neighbor who took down a chicken egg laying barn for a name brand producer and got the barn for free. This is like a big hoop green house about 300 ft long. Shoot in one half and grow veggies in the other half. Mark
