I have to say that I’m still enjoying the ease of use from my Innorel bowl tripod with a Benro S6 video head. Since the video head doesn’t cant, you quickly level the bowl with its adjustment and the gun remains true on that axis for a full 360 degree pan. There is enough movement from the bowl that you can compensate for a fair bit uneven tripod leg length and ground irregularity very quickly. I have a dual picatinny/Arca Swiss clamp attached to mine that works well with both formats. The S6 head is only rated for up to 17lbs, but it tightens enough to hold the tilt angle when you let go of the gun while still allowing you to easily and smoothly change that tilt. I will admit that It is a little bulky even when compared to a large ball head.
