I want to buy one of these two but I would like to know which one is better for use with pellets and slug ?

Pellets are self-stabilizing, as long as not too fast, too slow, or spinning too much. Slugs rely on high speed and spin for accuracy. Slug airguns generate more power and impart more spin thru unchoked barrels. Pellet airguns utilize less power and impart less spin thru choked barrels. It's rare but some designed for slugs shoot pellets well, and vice versa. The U2 600mm .22 is likely designed for pellets while the V3 700mm .22 is designed for slugs. My U2 and V3 700mm .30 sluggers love slugs but U2's balanced valve technology helps it out shoot the V3 with pellets. WM

My U2 600 in .22 (unchocked) is really good with pellets if i keep the speed below 900fps but I've had great luck with slugs at high speeds. Currently its shooting 25.5gr Zan .218 at 1005fps better then with pellets.

Reach out to @zx10wall, Derrick and he can help you out. I have a Vulcan 3 700mm in 22 that loves slugs and pellets from Derrick. Derrick can set the rifle up just the way you like it. I will be taking the Vulcan to Oregon with me to shoot the slug bench rest and also the long range bench rest.
