What pistol did you shoot today

Taking a lunch break now, just finished shooting some old Crosman CO2 pistol like this model 112.

The Predom Luczik and Walther LP53 are both pretty accurate. Both have been the subject of numerous modifications (ok, improvements) to the springs and seals.
While most people seem to be enamored with the Walther, I prefer the Predom for its steel breech and barrel. It simply feels like a more robust pistol.
Interesting!

Broke out the Schimel on this almost-summer day.
It's loud and kicks, is surprisingly accurate, and never gets more than 16-18 shots per cylinder.
But great fun!
This is another one of the collection that I keep well lubed. There are lots of moving parts and plenty of weird seals just looking for an excuse to leak. So one needs to stay on top of these Schimels if they are to remain in working order.
I use heavy pellets (~18gr) for the first 5-6 shots, 14.3gr for the next 5-6, and anything lighter for the rest. Seems to keep everything on target.
Sounds much like a CB 22 Long. Not loud enough for ear protection but definitely enough to wake me up :)

Took out the .357 Rex P. Have some peep sights on there (large aperture flipped up for off-hand shooting) and an empty rocker1 ldc pickle on the end to take the edge off the report.

I know the sights have to be way off because they have been reset a couple of times and it's been years since I checked zero (and I was shooting .360 buckshot which was not all very consistent in size), but I was able to ring the gong every time from about 30 meters shooting off hand and not "aiming small" at all and that was at least satisfying. Minute of cantaloupe accuracy. That gong sets all the neighborhood dogs off indoors and out, which I might feel bad about if it wasn't for the fact that I basically spend most of my afternoons in the summer listening to those same dogs. NOW we all get to listen to our dogs on MY schedule hahahahahahaha

(I have good relationships with my neighbors, they love the airgun madness, I love their dogs, it is all in good fun.)

The fact that I am impressed by the power of this thing probably reveals the fact that I haven't spent much time shooting anything other than air guns, but I am impressed by the power of this thing.

Going right through two by sixes... just hits very hard compared to 90% of the things that I've shot. before putting the can on it was impossible to pay attention to the impact sound because it was just ridiculously loud... much better now.

After my latest round of rifle/scope-swapping musical chairs, an awesome, vintage, JAPANESE-made 4-16X Bushnell Elite 4200 rifle scope came available at the same time my awesome, vintage, resurrected-from-untimely-demise .22 Falcon custom FN12 pistol was under-scoped with a 3-9X Something. The size and accuracy of the FN12 being more than a little conducive to... in fact, deserving of a nice 16X rifle scope, I was pleasantly surprised at the silver-slipper-esque match.

So despite the late hour, and duly inspired with benefit of a relaxing beverage, I couldn't help shooting a few groups at 50 yards by spotlight. Took only a few shots to zero 1/2" low at 40 yards; whereupon I engaged the 50 yard plate using the bottom duplex-post of the reticle on a (roughly) 1/2" aiming-spot, confident that would be pretty close to trajectory reality. Good call! The first five-shot group with 18.1 grain JSBs at 705 FPS/20 FPE-

Too lazy to dig out the calipers for better quantification after midnight, upon doing so next day the group measured .56" center-to-center. Have I mentioned 'silver-slipper fit'? 😁 "Everybody loves a tight fit."

Errrr... ummm...🥵 ... I mean, "Everybody loves a tight GROUP." Damned spell-check! 🤥

Very nice stock! Looks like an Remington XP stock, thinking of doing same with my FN8.

Is the Predom Luczik still accurate? Is it a pistol that has potential to get some use, or would other pistols in the collection be chosen for the informal backyard plinking sessions after a while?
Predom Luczik is a hoot to shoot , i find mine good accuracy . The recoil is up from the grips so the pistol is easy to keep level on target .

And this one. Adjusted the hammer spring and trigger pull.

This looks looks like something I'd like to try with my 2240 ... upgrade it from single shot to a repeater.
What breech and barrel are you using here? All these repeater mods are new to me.

Bnm breech. Standard barrel. You can buy a new pistol from other makes cheaper than it takes to mod these now. I simply love to tinker and tinker I shall.
