Driving was an obstacle course. This area is in state of emergency.
Put a 3x9x40 Air Max. on it and it shoots like a 30. Such an enjoyable rifle. I have a Walnut 30 en route hopefully.

I’m planning on putting different manufactured springs in these._ Fantastic guns.
I had a 30 Stainless in 22, on order since June as well a Walnut thumbhole 97 .20 and a Walnut stain .177 rifles. Lost by USPS. Crow

So, I was lucky to get a great deal on an FWB 300S. Gun Broker...never used it before but happy with my first experience. Purchased from a seller called "the Attic". I bought the same rifle from our classifieds a few weeks ago. The seller had "seller's remorse" and backed out of the deal. I talked to him, he seemed to be a great guy. Anyways, was able to buy the same rifle at half the price! And it was delivered in a rifle case and is in amazing condition. Scoped it, put a few shots down range, accurate as hell. A bit more twang than my FWB150. Will shoot it for awhile then send it to David Slade. I plan on removing the heavy varnish and finish it with a nice oil. It's hard to see but the wood has a nice tiger stripe hidden by the thick catalytic varnish. Cheers!

Again in town, scored 10,000 rounds. Got back early and managed to put a plate on on spring targets. The rifle of choice a LGU Varmite .22. Bery sweet gun. Almost had one in wood.
68F. Only 40 degrees warmer than yesterday.

Put a plate on target to protect springs. 5 shots on each. Ram head shots. Got to pig scope dropped. 3 hits on plate. This is a really cool target. Have parts for 3-4 more
IMG_1511.jpeg
Repainted and scope adjustment.
IMG_1513.jpeg
Started bird head shots. 30 yds. Hit the Turkey 4 of 5. Chick 1 of 1
Damage to range. Lost a fair size tree on my range from ice. I cut this one off lines. Going to try and secure up there and hang targets off it.

Yea...you need more targets for sure.

Devolope the woods in back, and build a concealed shooting bench.

I have a building with a deck connecting to the house that will do nicely, but will involve some serious work for this 69 year old and his chainsaw.

I have a little over a hundred yards back there to the property line.
I will have to change the backside window to an extra wide one for guests, aswell as build a nice shooting bench.
A lot of work incuding finishing the porch, handicap ramp and skirting.

I wish I could come down with my saw, it’s warmed up and give you a hand. Crow
